AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGIES
Descriptive card
The Master's Degree in Agricultural Sciences and Technologies provides opportunities to study and research in all areas of modern agricultural sciences, with emphasis on sustainable production, efficient use of natural resources and digital technologies. All courses include numerous practical activities and technical visits. This Master's Degree comprises a total of 120 ECTS spread over two years. The first year of the program is common to all students, whereas in the second year the study plan diverges into two Curricula, each consisting of 30 ECTS. One of them aims to provide students with specialized knowledge on sustainable crop production, the other focuses more on the multi-functional management of resources and technologies. The study plan also dedicates credits to linguistic skills, student-selected courses, internship and the final examination.
Admission Requirements
Possession of a 3-year University-level degree is required. The course is free-access, but it is necessary to meet the minimum curricular requirements (which include having passed exams on mathematics, chemistry, biology, agricultural sciences) and possess an adequate personal preparation. Possession of the curricular requirements and the adequacy of the personal preparation are ascertained by a dedicated Committee that will review the university records of the candidate and, if necessary, will meet the candidate for an interview on specific topics. Candidate students must have a certified knowledge of EU language (usually English) at least at B1 level.
